Artist Statement: Digital Illustration. 
My objective with my art has always been to depict reflections of myself & my experiences. In the past my art was an intermediary between my inner child and my adult self. I am currently exploring deeper realms and therefore my art is also gaining more intensity and refinement. I am using my practice to restore and reclaim my ancestral traditions through exhibiting the practices of my ancestors through these works. As I deconstruct my family’s assimilation into American society I’ve discovered the depth of disruption through generations and my art work personifies how this shaped my notion of self and the world around me.
